WHY DOES MY MOTHER WASH THE SHEETS BEFORE PUTTING THEM ON?

One of the doubts that most come to us from our customers during their online purchase is whether it is necessary to wash the new sheets before using them for the first time.

This doubt is supported by the fact that our mothers and grandmothers have historically chosen to wash the sheets before launching them, to avoid the stiffness and roughness that the sheets had when we bought them a few years ago. But things have changed , for the better!

In recent years, the industry has evolved positively and the fabric of the sheets, in addition to being washed , does so with extra soft finishes that avoid the stiffness and roughness of old sheets.

The sheets Creations Euromoda , be manufactured from 100% cotton satin or 50% cotton and 50% polyester , and a cleaning protocol of the fabric tight, are manufactured with some extra soft finishes that make irrelevant wash new sheets before brand new, as they are already washed at the factory

Therefore, our advice is that new sheets do not need to be washed before new . Enjoy them from day one! And once released, when and how to wash the sheets?

WHEN AND HOW TO WASH THE SHEETS

After several uses, it is advisable to wash the sheets in the washing machine. According to recent studies, the recommendation is to wash the sheets once a week to avoid mites, bacterial infections and eczema on the skin.

In addition to washing the sheets, at least once a week, we explain how to wash the sheets properly to extend their life with these recommendations:

• Maximum washing temperature: 40º
• The first wash must be done separately, do not mix with other garments.
• Always wash with a short spin.
• Wash with a mild detergent.
• Do not dry clean.
• Maximum ironing temperature: 150º
• Once the washing program is finished, hang the sheets and do not leave them damp in the washing machine
• Dry in the open air, if possible
