Steps to follow:
1
The first thing you should do before decorating your nails with water is to prepare and protect them by applying a hardener or glitter. Then, to make the water effect more beautiful, paint your nails with a white base or another light color that matches the nail polish you are going to select for decoration.

2
Then, prepare a glass of water to do the nail decoration and choose the nail polish colors that you like the most. You can select two, three or whatever you want. We have chosen three shades of blue to show you how to decorate your nails with water.

3
Once you have the glass prepared and the colors selected, cover your fingers with adhesive tape to prevent them from staining with enamel. This step is very important because you will have to put your fingers in the water and if you don't cover them well they will be totally stained. Surround the entire nail with the tape.

4
Then, take one of the nail polishes and drop a drop on the water. You will see that it spreads and the color is barely distinguishable, do not worry it is normal. Take another polish and drop another drop on the previous one. Repeat this step with the enamels you want and as many times as you want, the more drops, the more colors will be seen on your nails.

5
When you have all the drops in the water, take a toothpick and make the drawing you want. You can try making flowers, stars, hearts, etc., or just drawing abstract shapes like we have done. As you can see, this is a totally different way of painting nails but very simple.

6
You can put the necessary amount for a single nail, or expand the drops to fill the glass of water for all nails. Once you have the decoration, insert the nail on the drawing and, while the nail is submerged in the water, take the toothpick and remove the excess polish that surrounds the finger. Then remove the nail from the water.

7
When you remove the nail from the water you will see that the decoration is completely printed on it. Now all you have to do is remove the tape and wait for it to dry. When they are all completely dry, apply a coat of glitter to unify all the nail art and make the water effect look more beautiful.

8
And ready! In just a few minutes you will have beautiful and very original nails decorated with water. As you can see, this is a simple decoration that does not require expensive materials, but is made with things we have at home. Steps to follow:
1
Before you paint your nails in grade, apply a coat of glitter or hardener over them. This step is key to protecting the nails and ensuring that the final design remains intact for longer.

2
Now choose the nail polish shades that you like the most to make the gradient. Ideally, choose two or three shades of the same color range so that they combine well, but you can also try totally different colors. We have chosen three shades from the range of greens. Once you have decided the colors, apply the darkest tone as a base so that the final effect is well marked.

3
A very useful trick to prevent our fingers from staining at the time of gradient, is to place strips of adhesive tape around the nails. Take a look at the images to find out which areas you should cover exactly.

4
Take a sponge that we use to apply makeup base and fill a container with a little water. Put the sponge in the bowl and wring it out to remove excess water. The key is that the sponge is moistened and not wet. Now, on the sponge, give a horizontal brushstroke of each of the chosen nail polishes.

5
So that the gradient effect is well defined on the nails, pass the sponge from right to left or vice versa with light touches. If you want to give more intensity to the colors, try to sponge the nails again.

6
To finish, when it has dried, apply a light coat of gloss or hardener to set the design and reduce the rough texture. Ready! In a few minutes you will have some very beautiful and original decorated nails with a gradient effect. Dare to innovate and try the design with different colors.
