Plant pests: how to fight

Plant pests  are one of the  main concerns  for those who like to have beautiful and healthy plants, thus ensuring their full growth and development.

The first step is taken at the time of purchase when deciding to buy strong, pest free plants while  taking into account the location  and  care requirements of your plants .

It is not always animal parasites or diseases that make life difficult for plants, as adverse growing conditions do too.

The fact that a plant has very little space to grow or is in a  place that is too dark , as well as  incorrect watering or fertilization , can encourage the appearance of parasites and diseases .

It is best to check the plants regularly, including the inside of the leaves.

Aphids, thrips, spider mites  and similar parasites are easily recognizable with the naked eye or with a magnifying glass, but the same cannot be said for fungi, bacteriosis and diseases caused by viruses.

In these cases, it is the  aspect of damage to the plant that reveals the cause, so be aware .

The resistance capacity of your plants  can be increased with the so-called fortifiers, as they contain numerous and important compounds that strengthen the plant's tissue and make it more resistant to infectious agents.
