Method 1 Salt method

Using salt is a very effective method of removing blood stains from a pillowcase. Because salt is a natural element, it does not harm the material, such as discoloration.

Fill a sink or bucket with cold water. Put the pillowcase so that it is completely saturated.

Hold the areas of the pillow near the bloodstain with each hand, rubbing against each other to help loosen the blood.

Pour some table salt or meat tenderizer onto the blood stain, and let it sit for about 20 minutes. This normally removes a lot, if not all of the blood from the fabric.
