It can be used to measure the temperature of any food (chocolate, syrup, cheese, jam, oil, milk ...) and also to control the temperature of the oven or barbecue.

How to use:

• Press the MEASURE button and point the red LED at the measurement area.
• Release the MEASURE button and the LCD will display "HOLD". The reading indicates the infrared temperature that was just measured.
• To take a second measurement, press the MEASURE button and re-aim at the area. This thermometer does not measure the internal temperature of red meat and poultry.
• To clean it, use a cloth exclusively, do not immerse the thermometer.

So, it is very easy to use and you just have to press the button pointing to the food you want, so that its screen shows its temperature.

It is very hygienic , avoiding contamination or mixing of flavors by not physically touching the food with the thermometer.

Tip:  If you need to use a digital thermometer on an induction hob, it is best to turn off the hob while measuring. Otherwise, the thermometer can make inaccurate measurements and even stop working.
